Black Rhino Rapid Midnight Blue Custom Truck Wheels
The Black Rhino Rapid features a 12 arched spoke design with a step lip profile. A bolt on cap is utilized to allow for additional hub clearance through the entire center bore of the wheel. Black Rhino launched the Rapid in 17x8.5, 17x9, 17x9, 18x8.5, 18x9, 18x9.5, 20x8.5, 20x9 and 20x9 sizes with 5x127, 5x150, 6x114.3, 6x120, 6x135 and 6x139.7 bolt patterns. Other sizes and bolt patterns may have been added. The lip is trimmed out with the Black Rhino name as well as Rotory Forged. The Rapid wheel is manufactured using a highly advanced production technique called Flow Formed Technology (FFT). The rim of the wheels is forged at high pressure while the wheel is spun at high speed. This alters the molecular structure and enhances the strength of the alloy. The benefit is a much lighter weight than a regular cast wheel. Most importantly, the weight saving is in the outer rim of the wheel which dramatically reduces rotational mass and enhances vehicle performance.
